Keith Armstrong – Chief Executive
Keith has extensive in-depth procurement knowledge and business management experience having successfully worked in Public Sector procurement for over 16 years.
Keith’s career journey started back in 2000 when he set up an e-commerce company for local businesses to sell their products online. Keith’s next move was to food wholesale giant Iceland where he worked in a supply-chain management role gaining extensive experience of working on contracts with an annual value of nearly £220m delivered in a fast paced “just-in-time” environment.
Since then, his background has been firmly in procurement consultancy and procurement consortia. Most recently he was Managing Director for a commercially operating national procurement consortium that over the last 10 years delivered £0.5bn compliant procurement across more than 170 contracts saving over 70 clients which included Social Housing, NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, Education Providers and Charities more than £60m.
In 2019 Keith established Procurement Assist Limited with long-time friend and business partner Stephen Booth bringing together 18 years of procurement knowledge and more than 20 years sales and business development experience. This mix has created a unique offering to the market – superior procurement expertise delivered through a flexible, value for money and customer centric service delivery and support model.
