Procurement Assist provides four levels of service that can be tailored to meet your specific requirements.

Each level of service is designed to support you in different ways, and with our open pricing policy, the price you see is the price you pay.

‘No Assist’ allows clients from across the Public Sector access to Procurement Assist’s national PCR2019 compliant DPS agreements themselves.

‘No Assist’ comprises of:

  • Procure your own contract from any of the Procurement Assist agreements
  • Clients manage the process themselves
  • Clients use their own tender management system
  • Procurement Assist’s DPS Service Providers can be invited to access the client’s system
  • For further competition, clients manage the tender documentation, specification, KPIs, quality and price evaluation, contract award and formation of the final contract

Clients are required to reference the Procurement Assist DPS they wish to access in their tender documentation – this is to ensure PCR2019 compliance back to the respective Procurement Assist DPS. Procurement Assist require written evidence of this prior to submitting the tender to the DPS Service Providers.

The ‘Assist’ service level allows Further Competition from any of Procurement Assist’s national PCR2019 compliant DPS agreements with support on the tender documentation from the Procurement Assist team.

‘Assist’ comprises of:

  • Further Competition from any of the Procurement Assist agreements
  • Use of the Procurement Assist Tender Management System
  • Clients provide their specification, KPIs, quality and price evaluation
  • The Procurement Assist Team will form the client’s documentation into a tender pack
  • The Procurement Assist Team will notify DPS Service Providers of the client’s opportunity before it is released to tender
  • The client awards the contract and forms the final contract

‘Full Assist’ is a ‘turn-key’ solution to client’s procurement needs. Full guidance and support is provided throughout the process and the Procurement Assist team will manage the drawdown from any of any of Procurement Assist’s national PCR2019 compliant DPS agreements from start to finish.

‘Full Assist’ comprises of:

  • Agree a project plan at the outset
  • Jointly devise the specification
  • Provide one tender planning workshop
  • Use the Procurement Assist Tender Management System to deliver the procurement project
  • Inform the DPS Service Providers of the opportunity before it is released to tender
  • Create the price and quality evaluation models
  • Evaluate price
  • Provide a quality evaluation workshop and collate the results
  • Release the intent of award letters, and unsuccessful letters to DPS Service Providers who responded
  • Provide support to form the final contract
  • Ensure the final contract is signed by all parties

Project delivers clients bespoke procurement projects from start to finish. Run as an open PCR2019 tender.

‘Project’ provides a fully supported solution and comprises of:

  • Agree a project plan at the outset
  • Jointly devise the specification
  • Determine the best approach to PCR2019
  • Provide one tender planning workshop
  • Use the Procurement Assist Tender Management System to deliver the procurement project
  • Create the Contract Notice and post to Find A Tender
  • Create the price and quality evaluation models
  • Evaluate price
  • Provide a quality evaluation workshop and collate the results
  • Release the intent of award letters, and unsuccessful letters to respondees
  • Provide support to form the final contract
  • Ensure the final contract is signed by all parties
  • Post Contract Award Notice on Find A Tender
